Job summary

NES Fircroft in Midland, TX is seeking a maintenance technician for a 12-month contract to install, calibrate, repair and service production equipment. Expect 40 hours per week plus overtime and an on-call schedule.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with engine and compressor systems, including Waukesha/Cat engines and Ariel compressors, and be prepared for after-hours callouts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience completing work orders; willing to respond to after-hours calls.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, maintain, repair and troubleshoot equipment.
• Operate equipment to ensure line efficiencies are met.
• Monitor and inspect production equipment physically.
• Maintain and repair engine/motor and compressor equipment.
• Diagnose problems when equipment malfunctions.
• Perform preventative maintenance as required.
• Dismantle and reassemble machines for parts replacement.
• Conduct electrical repairs and fabrication of equipment.
• Complete work orders and respond to after-hours call outs when scheduled.
• Work 40 hours per week with overtime and on-call schedule.
• Experience with Waukesha or Cat engines and Ariel compressors.

Duties

• Install, calibrate, maintain, repair, replace and troubleshoot equipment.
• To operate equipment when necessary to ensure that line efficiencies are met.
• Continuously monitor and physically inspect production equipment.
• Maintain and repair engine/motor and compressor equipment
• Diagnose problems when equipment malfunctions
• Perform preventative maintenance related work as required
• Dismantle and reassemble machines to fit or replace necessary parts
• Conduct electrical repairs Repair/fabrication of equipment
• Complete work orders (3+ years exp), willing to respond to after hours call out when scheduled.
• 40 hours per week, + likely overtime, also on call schedule
• Waukesha or Cat engine experience, Ariel compressor experience
