Job summary

Voyant Beauty seeks a Pre-Weigh Supervisor to oversee daily operations in the Pre-Weigh Department, ensuring schedules and safety align with cGMP standards. You will lead technicians, ensure accurate material transfer, and maintain rigorous documentation within Epicor ERP.

You’ll manage calibration of balances, enforce regulatory requirements, and support updating SOPs and training materials, with some duties varying by location.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree, trade school certification, or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Verify raw materials and adjustment chemicals conform to pre-weigh documentation and measurement tolerances; document and enter data per SOPs and cGMP.
• Provide leadership and training to Pre-Weigh Technicians on procedures, compliance, and regulations.
• Manage transfer of materials to compounding; coordinate with warehouse; maintain Enterprise records (Epicor).
• Collaborate with Team Leaders to optimize efficiency; calibrate balances and scales in Pre-Weigh.
• Oversee safety and regulatory readiness, participate in audits and inspections.
• Operate and oversee the liquid waste system.
• Assist in updating work instructions, SOPs, and training materials.

A Brief Overview

The Pre-Weigh Supervisor oversees daily operations and personnel within the Pre-Weigh Department, ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining strict adherence to safety, cGMP, and procedural standards. This role includes managing the preparation and transfer of raw materials, leading the team, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and operational requirements.

What you will do

• Verify raw materials and adjustment chemicals conform to pre-weigh documentation and measurement tolerances. Oversee proper documentation and electronic data entry in accordance with SOPs and cGMP standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Pre-Weigh Technicians. Train employees on procedures, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the transfer of raw materials to compounding for intermediates and bulk production. Coordinate with the warehouse and maintain records in the Enterprise system (Epicor).
• Collaborate with Team Leaders and Supervisors to optimize efficiency. Manage the calibration of balances and scales within the Pre-Weigh Department.
• Oversee adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Participate in audits and ensure readiness for inspections.
• Operate and oversee the liquid waste system.
• Assist in formalizing and updating work instructions, SOPs, and training materials.
• Some duties may vary slightly by location.

Education Qualifications

• Associate's Degree trade school certification, or equivalent experience (Required)

Experience Qualifications

• 4-6 years in batch manufacturing or liquid blending in food, personal care, or pharmaceutical environments, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. (Required)
• 4-6 years familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles. (Preferred)
• 4-6 years with OSHA and environmental regulations. (Preferred)
