Job summary

Froedtert South, Inc. Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, is seeking a Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in preparing medications accurately and safely according to established procedures.

You will assist pharmacists with medication preparation and compounding, follow sterile and non-sterile procedures as applicable, document and label medications, and maintain clean, organized work areas to support patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Previous pharmacy or compounding experience preferred.
• Commitment to medication safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and compounding.
• Follow established sterile/non-sterile compounding procedures as applicable.
• Measure, prepare, label, and document medications accurately.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Follow safety, quality, and infection prevention standards.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Monitor supplies and assist with inventory.
• Support pharmacists and the broader healthcare team.
