Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist to oversee and grow non-sterile compounding capabilities, serving as a subject matter expert on compounded treatments with a focus on quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires following USP <795> and <800>, maintaining equipment and batch records, managing inventory, and ensuring a safe, compliant work environment while providing training and revalidation as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician registration.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Hospital or compounding experience preferred.
• Familiarity with USP <795>, USP <800>, and non-sterile compounding.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance.
• Organized, dependable, and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Compound non-sterile medications according to prescription orders and site SOPs.
• Clean, calibrate, and maintain compounding equipment and workspaces.
• Stage raw materials and manage non-sterile compounding inventory.
• Maintain batch records, ingredient logs, and cleaning logs.
• Follow USP <795>, USP <800>, and applicable state and federal requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
• Complete training, competency assessments, and annual revalidation.
