Option Care Health in Ridgewood, NY is seeking a Compounding Technician I under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist. You will assist with prescription compounding, preparation, and processing, ensuring accurate labeling and safe handling in a clean room environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience, and basic math and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Ability to perform basic to intermediate mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies according to policies and state standards.
• Prepares medications so they are accurately compounded and labels/packages medications correctly.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dosages.
• Maintains clean room surfaces, logs, and equipment and reports incidents.
