Barrington James is partnering with a fast-growing 503A compounding pharmacy serving the Greater New York Metropolitan Area. We are hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join the team and gain hands-on experience in a specialized compounding environment, supporting primary care providers with evidence-based, personalized medications.

Qualifications

• Certified pharmacy technician license preferred, but not required.
• Prior compounding experience preferred, but not required - training provided
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced pharmacy setting
• Good communication skills and a patient-first approach
• Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to grow within a specialized pharmacy practice

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with preparing, measuring, and packaging prescriptions, including compounded medications
• Process new and refill prescriptions accurately, whether submitted in-store, by phone, or online
• Support inventory management, including tracking medication and compounding supply stock
• Maintain clean, organized, and compliant workspaces in line with pharmacy standards
• Provide friendly, attentive service to patients in person and over the phone
• Support local delivery coordination and prescription transfer processing as needed
