Amerita, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Compounding to join our pharmacy team. You will prepare sterile and non-sterile infusions, perform calculations, and ensure compliance with USP standards in a role reporting to the Pharmacy Manager at our Charlottesville, VA location.

The position requires successful completion of a CPA-licensed tech program, registration as a Pharmacy Technician, and preferred IV certification.

Qualificações

• Flexible schedule with on-call evenings and weekends as scheduled.
• Strong mathematical and communication skills are required.
• Basic pharmacy knowledge and aseptic techniques are expected.
• Ability to work independently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and schedule sterile preparation with Pharmacist assistance.
• Perform calculations for product preparation as needed.
• Compound sterile and non-sterile mixtures per protocols and USP standards.
• Maintain clean room and equipment per policies and USP 797/800.
