W3Global in Rapid City, SD is seeking an experienced Compounding Pharmacist to join our on-site pharmacy team. The role focuses on advanced compounding, clinical judgment, and regulatory compliance to meet patient-specific needs.

The ideal candidate holds an active South Dakota pharmacist license, has at least two years of practice, and demonstrates strong communication, safety, and quality stewardship in line with USP 795/800 standards.

Qualifications

• Active South Dakota pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing pharmacist.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Understanding of aseptic technique and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Strong communication, patient counseling, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Compound, review, and dispense non-sterile medications following prescriptions and USP 795/800 standards.
• Communicate with patients, prescribers, and healthcare teams to provide clinical guidance and safe medication management.
• Ensure medication accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Mentor pharmacy technicians to maintain an efficient, compliant laboratory environment.
• Apply pharmaceutical knowledge to prepare customized medication solutions meeting patient needs.
