Job summary

Quality Talent Group is hiring a Compounding Pharmacist in Gilbert, AZ to join a leading health organization focused on quality and clinical excellence. The role supervises technicians, performs compounding, verifies records, and ensures regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or equivalent, AZ license, 2+ years of pharmacist experience, and familiarity with USP <795> and <800>. Strong math skills and ability to pass respirator fit testing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy.
• Active Arizona Pharmacist License.
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience.
• Non-sterile compounding experience.
• Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and pharmacy regulations.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to undergo respirator fit testing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required.
• Proficiency in English and Windows-based systems.
• Multi-state licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel.
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements.
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters.
