Job summary

Mega Aid Compounding Pharmacy in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a licensed Pharmacist (PharmD) to join our patient-focused team in a full-time, immediate-start role. You will gain hands-on experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding, patient consultations, QA, and formulation development, with mentorship and opportunities for growth in a modern lab environment.

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent degree.
• Active New York State Pharmacist License or NY State Intern Permit.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and learn compounding processes.
• Willingness to develop expertise in pharmaceutical compounding.

Responsibilities

• Verify prescriptions and ensure accurate, safe medication preparation.
• Participate in non-sterile and/or sterile compounding activities.
• Provide medication consultations to patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Review formulations, ingredients, dosing, and potential drug interactions.
• Follow procedures and protocols to ensure medication quality and patient safety.
• Maintain compliance with NY pharmacy regulations and USP standards.
• Participate in QA and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with staff training and development.
• Contribute to formulation development, R&D, and process improvement.
