Job summary

Quality Talent Group seeks a Compounding Pharmacist to support a leading health and wellness organization recognized for Best Workplace in health care. Shifts are 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 5:30 PM - 4:00 AM, offering a dynamic, collaborative environment.

You will supervise technicians, perform compounding and quality checks, ensure regulatory compliance, counsel patients, and contribute to drug utilization reviews and CQI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree (PharmD or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy) and active license.
• Active Arizona Pharmacist License with current registration.
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience in a professional setting.
• Non-sterile compounding experience and familiarity with USP standards.
• Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and state/federal regulations.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to undergo respirator fit testing and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Proficiency in English and Windows-based systems.
• Multi-state licensure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel.
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements.
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters.
