Mohawk Industries is a Fortune 500, global flooring leader seeking a materials and inventory operator. You will manage raw materials in SAP, receive materials, and maintain accurate inventory records for Latex and coater supplies.

You will monitor tanks, assist in coordinating deliveries, and support production scheduling across shifts in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have SAP, Excel and Windows experience, strong math and prioritization skills, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Must have Windows, SAP, Excel and Word experience.
• Good math and prioritization skills required.
• Able to communicate in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience with lab testing is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely.

• Program Latex formulas in PLC via HMI Screen.
• Follow production schedule and maintain inventory levels of Latex.

Responsibilities

• Order raw materials in SAP


• Receive raw materials in SAP


• Inventory all Raw Materials and Chemical and record electronically


• Record each batch & items received on compounding log Manual and Electronic


• Program Latex formulas in PLC via HMI Screen


• Follow Production schedule and maintain proper inventory levels of Latex for each coater.


• Monitor holding tanks for cleaning requirements.


• Closely monitor the equipment and process


• Respond quickly to equipment/ process issues


• Clean Filter baskets at required frequency


• Maintain driver log for Filler and Hydrate


• Monitor Wastewater tank for ability to use.


• Manage Material deliveries from Vendor when they arrive.


• Coordinate which material is received in correct storage tanks.


• Daily email communication of batch production and current issues needing addressed


• This position has Mandatory OT when required.


• This position will require Mandatory Saturday when required.


• Maintain a clean work area


• Handling chemicals and following all Safety and PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have Windows experience


• Must have good math skills.


• Must have Compound experience


• Must have SAP experience


• Must have good time management


• Must be able to work alone


• Must be able to use Excel


• All excel sheets are not basic sheets.


• Must know Word and how to create documents


• Any Lab testing experience is a plus


• Must have excellent prioritization skills.


• Must be able to trouble shoot by process of elimination.


• Must have mechanical skills


• Must be able to communicate in English, written and verbal.


• Must be able to move & lift to 50 lbs.


• Must conform to safe work practices


• Must have excellent attendance


• Must be able to track inventory


• Must be able to communicate with Vendors


• Must be able to work last minute Overtime


• This is a requirement.


• Must be able to work Saturday

Must be able to train on all 3 shifts during the training period.

Each shift has a few separate items they are responsible for.
