Job summary

CPI Radant Technologies Division is seeking a Composites Engineer to support design, test, and manufacture of radomes and composite structures for aerospace, naval, and ground applications. You will help develop manufacturing processes, review specifications, and write technical documentation.

Ideal candidates have a engineering degree and familiarity with tooling concepts, material testing, and CAD such as Fibersim. Entry-level options are considered; ITAR-related access may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in manufacturing, materials, or aerospace engineering.
• Familiarity with tooling concepts, material testing, reading/interpreting drawings, and CAD (like Fibersim).
• Willing to consider entry-level candidates with materials and related degrees.

Responsibilities

• Project engineering support for composite structures in development and production programs.
• Review customer/product specifications and translate into manufacturing processes.
• Develop manufacturing process specifications for composite radomes: tools, fixtures, materials, assembly procedures.
• Maintain reliable process procedures and product quality; drive process improvements.
• Technical writing: reports and work instructions; data collection and BOM; estimate manufacturing allowances for proposals.
