Job summary

Tiara Yachts in Holland, MI is seeking a Composite Technician to work on modern boat hulls and structural components. You will work hands-on with fiberglass, resins, and core materials, building strength, durability, and reliability in each vessel. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Expect a 6:00 am–2:30 pm Monday–Friday schedule with no mandatory weekends. We offer $22/hour starting pay, generous PTO, a full benefits package, tuition reimbursement,

Qualifications

  • Experience working with fiberglass, resins and core materials.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work area.
  • Comfort in a physically demanding environment and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Team-player with commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare molds and apply fiberglass and resin using hand layup or vacuum infusion.
  • Measure, cut, and place fiberglass cloth and core materials accurately.
  • Monitor curing times and perform post-cure trimming or grinding.
  • Communicate material needs or issues with team or supervisor.
