Qualifications

• 15+ years in composite structural analysis and mechanics of materials.
• Experience in structural analysis, material modeling, and advanced engineering practices.
• Senior technical roles such as Technical Fellow or Senior Structures Analyst.
• Advanced degree in Engineering or related field.
• Defense industry experience with contractors or government entities.
• Knowledge of composite materials, design, manufacturing, and testing.
• Proficient with ABAQUS; familiarity with Mathematica; programming in Python/Fortran/C++.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership as SME in composites, mechanics of materials, and structural analysis including FEA.
• Develop advanced engineering solutions to complex challenges with innovation and accuracy.
• Guide creation and refinement of engineering methodologies, technologies, and processes.
• Support CTO with input on performance, training needs, and project organization.
• Mentor engineering staff and promote technical excellence.
• Lead technical reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Oversee major projects aligning with strategic objectives.
• Review and approve critical drawings, analyses, and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful execution and deliverables.
• Represent the organization at technical forums and conferences.
