Job summary

Karman Space & Defense in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a Production Technician for composite manufacturing. You will work on tape wrapping, hand layup, and curing processes, while ensuring quality and conformance to specifications.

You will follow ISO 9001/AS9100 standards, inspect outputs with precision tools, and support production flow on first shift. This role requires physical effort and attention to safety and process details.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in production/manufacturing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motion.
• Experience with composite manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and travelers per production schedules.
• Apply ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards in daily work.
• Perform tape wrapping, cutting, molding, and hand layup of composites.
• Measure and visually inspect products with precision tools.
• Mix and measure resin and adhesive materials for parts.
• Set oven temps and follow blueprints to determine methods.
• Maintain production equipment and tools to specification.
• Work while standing and use upper body movements as required.
