Job summary

Karman Space & Defense in Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a Production Technician to support manufacturing of composite structures, perform tape wrapping, cutting, molding, and hand layup.

You will inspect parts to specifications, measure resin materials, and help maintain equipment on the production floor while following ISO 9001/AS9100 standards.

Role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and 2–3 years of experience; first shift 6:00 am – 2:30 pm with full-time benefits.

This role is part of our Hypersonics and Strategic Missile Defense business, which designs, develops, and delivers highly dependable missile systems for hypersonic and strategic missile defense missions. The Production Technician supports manufacturing operations by working with composite structures, producing assemblies, and performing tape wrapping, cutting, compression molding, and hand layup activities. This role ensures products meet specifications through accurate measurement, inspection, and adherence to documented procedures. It also contributes to efficient production flow by maintaining equipment, following blueprints, and supporting daily operations on the manufacturing floor.
