Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, based in Kinston, NC, seeks an Industrial Engineer - Composite to support ramp-up and improve composite production processes for the A350 family. You will serve as the focal point for composite ME topics and collaborate with the broader Airbus composite network.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 5 years of Airbus composite manufacturing experience, and the ability to work in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering is required.
• 5 years of experience with Airbus composite manufacturing, processes and regulations.
• Composite manufacturing skills and knowledge of composite materials.
• ME processes experience, preferably with Airbus, but at least in aviation.
• Experience working in international environments.
• Ability to travel up to ~10% domestically and internationally.
• Proficient in English; US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support Airbus composite processes conform to internal standards and regulations.
• Ensure alignment and exchange of best practices with other Airbus plants.
• Lead improvement projects to protect ramp-up for A350 composites and drive cost/time reductions.
• Act as focal point for composite ME processes and enable cross-site collaboration.
• Interface between Kinston composite community and Airbus composite networks.
