Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with composites, elastomeric and phenolic systems.
• Hands-on design, prototyping, testing, and production involvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex mechanical components and assemblies for elastomer and phenolic composite systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scalable manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Create and maintain process control documentation for compliance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality teams to implement process improvements on existing lines.
• Conduct trade studies and define design requirements for radar absorption, thermal control, and vibration damping.
• Perform structural analysis using hand calculations and FEA on composites and precision parts.
• Prototype and test advanced materials such as carbon fiber and silicones; iterate on performance data.
• Investigate failures and lead root-cause analyses in development and production.
