Job summary

Hybron Inc in El Segundo, CA, is seeking a Composites Manufacturing Technician (Level 1-3) for a full-time, on-site role. You will prepare tooling, load and handle composite materials, monitor molding cycles, and inspect finished components to ensure quality and consistency.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person pursuant to EAR and ITAR definitions.
• 2+ years of experience in molding, composites, or plastics manufacturing, or equivalent trade school background.
• Ability to operate molding equipment such as compression molding, resin transfer molding (RTM), or similar systems.
• Experience with manufacturing composite layups and preforms.
• Ability to prepare, load, and handle composite materials and tooling.
• Ability to monitor molding cycles and document process parameters accurately.
• Ability to clearly communicate molding observations and results in both oral and written form.
• Ability to perform basic part inspection and quality checks to ensure quality and consistency.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Experience with working with heavy equipment, including hydraulic presses and industrial ovens.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tooling, load and handle composite materials.

• Document process parameters and observations, and communicate issues to team.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to ensure production targets are met.
