Karman Space & Defense in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a Production Technician for the 2nd shift in the composites shop. You will support tape wrapping, cutting, molding and hand layup processes, ensuring quality through inspection and adherence to ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.

The role requires 2–3 years of experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and capability to perform repetitive motion. Work is aligned with a safety-focused, production-driven team environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and travelers according to production schedules.
• Applies ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards in daily work.
• Performs tape wrapping, cutting, compression molding, and hand layup for composite materials.
• Measures and visually inspects products using precision instruments to confirm specifications.
• Mixes and measures resin and adhesive materials.
• Adjusts oven temperature controls and reviews blueprints or instructions.
• Maintains production and processing equipment.
• Performs upper-body mobility tasks including standing for extended periods.
