Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in West Chester, OH is seeking a Contract Composite Manufacturing Engineer for a 3-6 month engagement. The role offers $40-$50 per hour and requires hands-on experience with composite production, BOMs, and process development.

You will develop and maintain production plans, support tooling design and manufacturing methods, and serve as the liaison between engineering and production to resolve manufacturing challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2+ years of composite manufacturing experience (10+ years preferred for senior-level roles).
• Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes including hand lay-up, autoclave curing, RTM, and compression molding.
• Experience developing Bills of Materials (BOMs), production plans, and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans, manufacturing processes, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Support and optimize tooling design and manufacturing methods to improve efficiency and quality.
• Serve as the primary liaison between engineering and production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
• Troubleshoot composite manufacturing processes and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
