Confidential Manufacturing Engineer position in Rock Hill, SC for aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing sectors. Develop and optimize composite manufacturing processes from prototype through production, with NPI support and cross-functional collaboration.

The role offers $80K-$120K base, plus 8-10% bonus, long-term stock options, relocation/sign-on assistance, and a growth-focused leadership team driving expansion across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 3–5+ years of Manufacturing/Process Engineering experience.
• Experience in composite manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of carbon fiber materials and composite fabrication preferred.
• Experience supporting products through prototype, development, and production phases.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for composite products.
• Support NPI and transition programs from prototype to production.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and commercial teams to improve manufacturability and efficiency.
• Lead process improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, throughput, and cost reduction.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and perform root cause analysis.
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and manufacturing standards.
• Provide hands-on support to production teams in a low-volume, high-mix environment.
• Interface with customers and internal stakeholders to support development and production goals.
