Job summary

Creative Composites Group in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a Production Specialist – Installation Crew Member to act as the technical specialist across multiple production tasks, including molding, kitting, finishing, welding and assembly.

You will rotate through departments to meet the production schedule, implement Lean/6S, and maintain safety and quality standards while reporting progress to supervision. Travel up to 50% for product installation may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of additional work experience applicable to duties.
• Experience with telehandlers and boom lifts.
• Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to train employees including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical specialist and perform complex composite manufacturing tasks to meet production goals.
• May rotate across multiple departments to meet production schedule.
• Implement Lean/6S and improvements from audits.
• Maintain quality by adhering to standards.
• Interpret work orders, prints and tolerances; understand inter-department dependencies.
• Provide progress reports and troubleshoot to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with production staff to maintain a productive team environment.
