Job summary

Czinger Vehicles, a leader in high-performance automotive design, seeks a Senior Engineer to drive Body Systems development in Torrance, CA. You will refine composite body panels, lead 3D packaging, and collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, and CAE teams to ensure robust, manufacturable solutions.

Responsibilities include material selection, laminate development, and production-ready documentation. The role requires hands-on prototype support and on-time, on-budget delivery in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering and 7+ years of automotive or motorsport industry experience.
• Experience with composite/lightweight materials and tooling development.
• Product development experience for interior, exterior, or closures systems.
• Ability to model 3D CAD geometry and create 2D part drawings.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and root-cause analysis during validation.

Responsibilities

• Refine and generate technical solutions for vehicle systems including interior/exterior composite body panels and 3D-printed components.
• Develop concepts, drive packaging, create manufacturing drawings and installation procedures using CAD tools.
• Lead cross-functional development with Design, Crash Testing, Manufacturing, CAE and other sub-systems.
• Drive material selection, laminate development and manufacturing process integration of composites.
• Release parts and assemblies throughout the program lifecycle.
