Job summary

Spencer Composites Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of X-Bow Systems, Inc., is seeking a Machinist – Composite Manufacturing in Sacramento, CA. This full-time role focuses on precision CNC machining, programming, and interpretation of complex drawings for aerospace-grade components.

You will program and operate CNC mills and lathes, set up equipment, perform maintenance, read blueprints, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC programming and operation for mills and lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications for precision machining.
• Experience in composite machining is preferred but not required.
• Vocational training or technical certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components.
• Set up and calibrate CNC equipment to ensure precision and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to clarify requirements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support efficient operations.
