Collins Aerospace is seeking a Composite Builder for the second shift (3:00pm–11:00pm) to assemble, cure, and finish composite parts. You will cut materials, read instructions, operate autoclaves, monitor gauges, document data, and maintain traceability in ERP systems.
Safety training and teamwork are essential as you contribute to on-time production. Experience with hand tools, preventive maintenance, and ability to follow manufacturing instructions is expected.

As a Composite Builder, you will be responsible for the overall assembly, cutting materials, layup/build, cure, and final finish of the products to meet customer expectations. This position requires various manufacturing processes, including cutting, assembling, drilling, sanding, painting, soldering, and using any other tools needed to complete the final product. The ideal candidate for this position should be someone who works well with a team and collaborates with people from other departments. Builders will perform preventive maintenance on their tools and machines as required. This position will be responsible for the timely production and testing of quality parts as called out in the manufacturing instructions. All builders are expected to issue their parts used to the work orders to maintain traceability and claim their work accurately in the time keeping and ERP systems. This is for 2nd shift from 3:00pm-11:00pm, with voluntary and/or potential mandatory overtime.
