SUMMARY: The Master Mechanic performs maintenance to s ervice, repair, and overhaul aircraft to ensure airworthiness . Utilizes technical skills and knowledge to train and develop mechanics. Assists Leads with the daily operation of a functional area while working under minimal supervision.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, stand, and walk; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee may be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds using proper lifting protocols.
ENVIRONMENT:
Based on location, you may be required to pass a background check for an SIDA (Security Identification Display Area) or AOA (Airport Operations Area) badge .
The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate to high. May occasionally work near moving mechanical parts in high, precarious places and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. May also work outside in various types of weather. This position requires the use of a respirator.
Compensation
The full base pay range for this position is 29.00-39.00 per hour, exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. The lower end of the range represents the target base pay for those beginning or developing in the role. The higher end of the range is intended for those who have mastered the role with proven significant expertise, high achievement, and specialized skills. If you are hired at ATS, your hourly rate will be based on factors such as skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors – we consider the internal equity of our current employees when determining offers. This position is eligible for an annual bonus. We also offer a generous benefits package, as detailed below.
