Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas in Plymouth, Michigan seeks a technically savvy sales professional to drive Cyntec automotive components, promoting design wins and expanding our customer base. You will build and manage relationships with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, coordinating with Taiwan-based engineering teams to meet demanding specs.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with proven automotive electronics sales experience, excellent negotiation and presentation

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or engineering degree with automotive electronics sales experience.
• Proven automotive electronics sales and/or component knowledge.
• Established relationships with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and secure design wins for Cyntec automotive components.
• Promote component adoption with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and semiconductor companies through reference design engagements.
• Achieve annual revenue targets while delivering year-over-year growth.
• Manage strategic customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, factories, and product management in Taiwan to support requirements.
• Lead commercial negotiations involving pricing, contracts, and business agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and secure design wins for Cyntec automotive components, including high-power magnetics, current sense resistors, power inductors/chokes, and power modules
• Promote component adoption with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and semiconductor companies through reference design engagements
• Achieve annual revenue targets while delivering sustained year-over-year business growth
• Manage strategic customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and generate demand through proactive customer engagement
• Coordinate with engineering teams, factories, and product management in Taiwan to support customer requirements, including product specifications, samples, pricing, technical support, and quality issue resolution
• Lead commercial negotiations involving pricing, contracts, and business agreements

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering preferred; alternatively, an Engineering degree with 5+ years of automotive electronics sales or marketing experience
• Proven experience in automotive electronics and/or electronic components.
• Established relationships with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, including engineering and procurement organizations
• Strong understanding of automotive applications, including EV charging, battery management systems (BMS), ADAS, zonal architectures, infotainment, LED lighting, and high-performance computing platforms
• Demonstrated sales discipline with a results-driven, business development mindset
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented, with strong problem-solving and time management abilities
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: 10%

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior product development or engineering experience
• Semiconductor industry experience
• Mandarin language proficiency is a plus
