The Component Configuration Management Specialist will establish and maintain configuration control for electronic, electrical, electromechanical, and mechanical component data throughout the product lifecycle. This senior specialist will serve as the authoritative focal point for component-related configuration records, engineering parts lists, approved and preferred part data, product structures, change implementation, and controlled release within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Product Data Management (PDM), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
The role operates at the intersection of Component Engineering, design engineering, Configuration and Data Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Program Management, and external suppliers. The successful candidate will ensure that component selections and changes are complete, traceable, technically reviewed, contractually compliant, and accurately reflected in as-designed and as-built configurations across development, production, sustainment, and obsolescence-management activities.

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
