Job summary

Siemens Mobility is looking for a Component Application Engineer to support and guide customers on low-voltage breaker applications. The role will base in Peachtree Corners, GA, with options for Grand Prairie, TX or Mayfield, TX, and involves collaboration with Product Management, Sales, and R&D to shape portfolio direction.

You will troubleshoot applications, provide technical support, and translate requirements into actionable insights, while helping customers understand product capabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or related engineering field.
• 3+ years applying molded case circuit breakers and low-voltage distribution.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex low-voltage breaker applications and provide root-cause analysis.
• Provide pre-sale and post-sale technical guidance to multiple teams.
• Gather requirements and translate them into product or portfolio inputs.
• Evaluate competitor products and identify market opportunities.
• Develop technical presentations, proofs of concept, and proposals.
• Create manuals, white papers, and training materials for customers.
• Apply electrical codes and standards and support industry committees.
