Job summary

Raytheon in McKinney, Texas, seeks a Component Analyst to support evaluation and disposition of electronic and mechanical parts used in defense electronics assemblies, including handling of ESD/MSL-sensitive items and packaging requirements. You will document discrepancies and coordinate dispositions with program teams.

The onsite role requires US citizenship and periodic travel to North Texas warehouses. You will work with Component Engineers, QA, and warehouse staff to resolve non-conformances

Qualifications

• University Degree or equivalent experience with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with warehousing, handling, and quality control of electrical and mechanical components.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and hierarchy definitions.
• Familiarity with PDM systems and quality corrective action processes for components.
• Knowledge of component selection, screening, qualification, and derating for military and aerospace applications.

Responsibilities

• Research drawings/specifications and datasheets for proper packaging and handling characteristics.
• Capture, document and segregate discrepant material.
• Coordinate with program personnel for dispositioning of material (RMA, UAI, submit for further testing).
• Coordinate with warehouse and production personnel.
• Research and work with Component Engineers on technical issues involved with parts (electronic and electro-mechanical).
• Coordinate and assist with the disposition of Quality Notifications related to component non-conformance.
