Job summary

Stifel in the United States is seeking an intern to assist the Compliance Training team, performing a wide range of administrative duties and supporting training development.

Under supervision, you will observe and participate in related Compliance areas, contribute to projects, attend trainings, and learn essential skills. Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field and be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; High School diploma required.

Under immediate supervision, the Intern will represent Stifel by performing a wide variety of administrative duties in support of the Compliance Training area. This position will have the opportunity to observe and/or work in other Compliance areas and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the Compliance Training Team.

• Learn basic job functions and responsibilities within the Compliance Training Dept.
• Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects including training development and administration.
• Attend training and development meetings to enhance professional competencies.
• Assist with administrative duties that support our department.
• Monitoring for and responding to team inbox training requests and inquiries.
• Assist in preparation of reports and audits of internal systems.
• Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others; comfortable dealing with associates and clients of all levels.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Managing one's own time and priorities to ensure the meeting of deadlines.
• Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Training, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Communications or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
