Role Description

The Compliance Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at North Fork Mono Casino & Resort in Madera, CA. This role oversees daily compliance operations, including monitoring adherence to gaming regulations, internal policies, and licensing requirements. The Compliance Supervisor reviews reports, conducts audits, investigates potential violations, and recommends corrective actions to maintain regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include supervising compliance staff, assigning and reviewing work, coordinating training on regulatory updates, and supporting internal and external inspections. The role also partners with operational departments to strengthen internal controls, improve documentation, and ensure that compliance procedures are consistently understood and followed.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, workload prioritization, and performance coaching.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Regulatory Compliance, particularly in gaming, hospitality, or similarly regulated industries.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret regulations, review reports and data, and identify trends or potential risks.
• Candidates should possess experience in Training, including developing and delivering compliance-related training and guidance to staff.
• Candidates should possess Auditing skills, including planning, conducting, and documenting internal reviews of processes and controls.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with office and compliance software tools.
• Experience in casino, tribal gaming, finance, or regulatory environments and knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations are preferred.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in business, criminal justice, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is highly desirable.
