Securian Financial seeks a proactive Business Compliance Senior Analyst to oversee regulatory responses and client/partner due-diligence within Affinity Solutions. You will coordinate with Affinity, product and finance teams, while partnering with law and compliance teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Monitor TPA audit administration by coordinating scheduling, document collection, status tracking, and remediation follow-up.
• Support regulatory inquiries and market conduct exam responses by coordinating required information and deadlines.
• Lead complaint review documentation and monitor trends.
• Engage in legislative and regulatory developments impacting Affinity products or operating models and coordinate changes.
• Administer intake and tracking of TPA and client marketing materials for Product & Advertising Compliance review, including Admaster entries.
• Create and maintain business-area marketing content within Adobe Express to support affinity partner and sales initiatives via video assets.

Overview:

Are you interested in driving business growth and coordinating opportunities through a compliance lens? We are seeking a proactive, curious, and diligent business compliance senior analyst to work with the Affinity Solutions business teams to oversee a variety of clients and business driven legal, compliance, and regulatory requests. In this role you will work closely with Affinity client, product, and financial teams, while collaborating with Securian's law and compliance teams and external partners. You will be responsible for supporting Affinity's business compliance and regulatory oversight programs and best practices that prioritize and balance outcomes in support of Affinity's client sales and retention goals

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Coordinate client & partner due-diligence responses, including aggregation and updating of standard responses in coordination with Affinity and enterprise business partners.

• Monitor third-party administrator (TPA) audit administration by coordinating scheduling, document collection, status tracking, and follow-up on findings and remediation items. Also advocates for internal teams' concerns and recommends solutions to align with remediation agreements.

• Support regulatory inquiries and market conduct examination responses by coordinating required information, monitoring deadlines and action items, and following up with internal teams and third parties as needed.

• Lead complaint review documentation and monitor trends.

• Engaged in legislative and regulatory developments that could impact Affinity products or operating models, to assist with documenting, communicating, and coordinating identified changes as needed.

• Administer the intake and tracking of TPA and client marketing materials submitted for Product & Advertising Compliance review, including creating Admaster entries and coordinating annual and ad hoc submissions.

• Create and maintain business-area marketing content within Adobe Express, supporting affinity partner and sales initiatives through video creation assets.

Qualifications:

• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate information and provide accurate, timely responses to a variety of inquiries.

• Strong problem solving, negotiation and communication skills to understand and incorporate compliance into business unit processes in a way that meets business requirements.

• Experience enforcing compliance with policies and procedures, as well as revising those policies and procedures based on audit findings or regulatory changes.

• Flexibility, strong organization and planning skills, as well as attention to details with the ability to manage changing priorities.

• Excellent track record working across functions and with all levels of stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant business compliance, regulatory, or other relevant experience

• Experience or familiarity with insurance law, consumer financial services law, financial institution regulation, or related field.

• Experience with Affinity Solutions markets and products

Preferred Skills:

The estimated base pay range for this job is:

$59,400.00 - $109,200.00
