Job summary

Eckerd Connects in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Compliance Specialist for the EARN/WIOA program. The role focuses on compliance management and collaboration with Workforce Advisors and the Data Team to ensure timely follow-up and accurate service delivery to customers.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a drug screen. The position offers an hourly wage of $24.41 and a benefits package including medical, PTO, holidays, and retirement

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous workforce experience is preferred with knowledge of EARN/WIOA program policies.
• Must have an appropriate and valid state drivers license and be able to meet requirements for Eckerds Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes.
• Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.

Responsibilities

• The Compliance Specialist supports the EARN/WIOA Program through compliance management and coordination with Workforce Advisors and Data Team.
• Monitors participant enrollment and generates reports to track attendance and compliance.
• Compiles and submits documentation (timesheets, pay stubs, employment verification forms, incentives and other forms) to the Data Team.
• Provides administrative support for TANF monthly sampling and related reviews as required by Federal, State, and Philadelphia Works, Inc.
• Aids monthly reconciliation of customer data in the Commonwealth Workforce Development System (CWDS) for accuracy.

Duties & Responsibilities

• The Compliance Specialist supports the EARN/WIOA Program through compliance management, assisting in the maximization of efficient and effective service delivery to EARN/WIOA customers working closely with Workforce Advisors and the Data Team to ensure clear communication between departments for timely follow-up and outreach to support customers experience and determine continued enrollment.
• Responsible for monitoring EARN/WIOA customers participation and sharing information with Workforce Advisors generating and reviewing reports to track customers time and attendance to determine compliance with program requirements.
• Compile, review, and submit relevant documentation (timesheets, pay stubs, employment verification forms, incentives and other forms) to the Data Team.
• Provide administrative support for TANF monthly sampling; validation requests, and/or other reviews as required by Federal, State, and Philadelphia Works, Inc.
• Assist the Data Team in monthly reconciliation of customer data to ensure accuracy of all activity, dates, and time & attendance in the Commonwealth Workforce Development System (CWDS).
