Zusammenfassung

The Center for Justice Innovation in Brooklyn, NY seeks a Compliance Specialist to support the Supervised Release team with accurate compliance tracking, audits, and reporting to courts and defense attorneys.

Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you will ensure data quality, provide updates to the Court, and collaborate with multiple units to improve programs and training. This is a full-time role offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of experience in a criminal court setting and/or human services, or 3-4 years’ experience in criminal justice as equivalency.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, organization, and communication skills, and strong writing ability.

Aufgaben

• Audit Brooklyn Justice Initiatives programs for compliance and internal audits.
• Track participants’ progress in accordance with grant requirements.
• Coordinate with court staff to provide participants’ compliance, eligibility, and case status.
• Provide written case updates to the court and court staff including compliance reports.
• Generate daily and weekly compliance memorandums detailing mandates, court dates, and outcomes.
• Coordinate across BJI programming for cross-over participants in Alternatives to Incarceration.
• Maintain participant information in electronic databases with mandate and court outcome data.
• Assist with development of new programs, protocols and initiatives.
• Assist with staff training and onboarding.
• Collaborate with Data Analytics & Applied Research to improve QA of programming.
• Review internal trends to support programmatic evaluation.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings, including after-hours events when needed.
• Perform additional relevant tasks as needed.
