This position is critical for maintaining the integrity of our housing programs and safeguarding the interests of both our organization and the communities we serve. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of complex regulatory frameworks, specifically within the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) sectors, to drive operational excellence and mitigate risk across our assets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough audits and reviews of property files to ensure strict adherence to LIHTC and HUD compliance standards.
• Prepare and submit accurate regulatory reports to relevant government agencies and oversight bodies within mandated timelines.
• Collaborate with property management teams to implement corrective actions and remediate any identified compliance gaps or violations.
• Monitor changes in federal and state housing legislation to update internal policies and training materials accordingly.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and inspectors during routine and special examinations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and records to support continuous compliance and facilitate seamless reporting processes.
