WakeMed is seeking a Compliance program assistant to support day-to-day operations of the Corporate Compliance program. You will help prepare reports and dashboards, monitor hotline activity, COI disclosures, and investigations, and track case workload and closure times.
The role includes assisting with risk assessments, developing the annual compliance work plan, and collaborating with clinical leadership, risk management, and legal teams to address compliance concerns.
Assists with all aspects of the day-to-day operation of WakeMed?s Corporate Compliance program. Responsibilities may include, but not limited to maintaining and organizing information, prepare reports and dashboards for trending compliance results. Monitor and investigate compliance hotline reports, conflict of interest (COI) disclosures, and other reports of potential compliance violations. Track and report on compliance hotline caseload volume and time to close investigations. Review COI disclosure forms against publicly available data and follow up with providers, where necessary.
Monitor implementation of corrective action plans and develop management reports. Complete internal audits and other projects on the corporate compliance work plan to support continuous monitoring of identified compliance risks. Reports audit results as well as analyze and recommend corrective action plans.
Assist in ongoing risk assessment process for corporate compliance regulatory priorities and development of annual corporate compliance work plan. Primary responsibility for managing one or more core subject-matter areas.
May also be assigned primary responsibility for other projects based on the needs of the Corporate Compliance program.
