Job summary

Atlantic Medical Management (AMM) is seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to develop, manage and maintain the organization’s compliance program. The role is home-based in Jacksonville, NC but requires travel to multiple sites within North Carolina.

Responsibilities include designing programs, monitoring regulations, preparing management reports, investigations, staff training, HR liaison for disciplinary action, audits and contract analysis to mitigate non-compliance risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Health Care Management or related field preferred.
• At least 3 years in the medical field.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement programs/policies to ensure compliance with government and legal regulations.
• Monitor laws/regulations impacting company business processes.
• Prepare and present compliance reports to management.
• Conduct investigations to identify root causes of compliance issues.
• Provide training on compliance procedures and policies.
• Liaise with HR for disciplinary actions on violations.
• Conduct or oversee internal and external compliance audits.
• Analyze payer contracts and third-party agreements for compliance risk insights.
• Support contract negotiations and communications for the organization.

Atlantic Medical Management (AMM) is looking for an experiencedComplianceSpecialist to join our organization. AMM is a corporate medical management firm that is dedicated to improving patient care. The primary responsibility will be to develop, manage and maintain the organization’scomplianceprogram. Home base for this position is in Jacksonville, NC but requires travel to multiple sites within North Carolina.

Requirements and Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Health Care Management or related field, preferred
• 3 years experience in the medical field
