Job summary

Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA in Herndon, VA, seeks a Trade Compliance Analyst to ensure adherence to U.S. customs regulations and to classify parts according to HTSUS and ECCN.

You will liaison with brokers and logistics providers to secure timely clearance and maintain data integrity across systems. You will leverage SQL, Skywise (Palantir), and Power BI to analyze supply chain data, build dashboards, and identify compliance risks and cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with U.S. Customs regulations (19 CFR) and international trade controls.
• Experience performing tariff (HTSUS) and ECCN classifications.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to build dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with relevant customs regulations and trade controls.
• Classify aviation aftermarket parts for HTSUS and ECCN.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and 3PLs to ensure clearance.

• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations (19 CFR), HTSUS, ECCN, EAR, ITAR, country of origin requirements, and free trade agreements.
• Perform accurate tariff (HTS) and ECCN classifications for aviation aftermarket parts.
• Act as the primary liaison with customs brokers and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely customs clearance.
• Utilize SQL, Skywise (Palantir), and Power BI to analyze supply chain data and identify compliance risks, cost-saving opportunities, and duty drawbacks.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to monitor compliance KPIs, customs entry accuracy, and operational performance.
• Develop workflow automations using VBA and other scripting tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
• Conduct internal compliance audits to identify discrepancies and prevent regulatory penalties.
• Collaborate with logistics, engineering, and cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity across systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and strategic trade compliance projects.
• Maintain a strong commitment to ethical business practices and regulatory compliance.
