The Texas Department of Agriculture is seeking a Compliance Review Monitor – USDA for Texas-based work across TEFAP, CSFP, FMNP, SFMNP, and related programs. This exempt role requires strong regulatory knowledge and the ability to conduct both on-site and off-site reviews.

The position offers a salary of $5,500.00–$5,800.00 per month, with work locations in Austin, Houston, San Antonio, or Fort Worth, TX, and travel across the state as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree; experience substituting one year of college allowed.
• Two years of work experience conducting compliance reviews for federal, state, or local programs.
• Experience in food service management, school meals, nutrition education, or audits.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Responsabilités

• Conduct on-site and off-site compliance reviews of nutrition programs.
• Provide SME guidance and technical assistance to contract entities.
• Prepare monthly and annual reports and respond to public information requests.
• Manage performance threshold data and tracking to ensure regulatory minimums.
• Communicate results to management and recommend corrective actions.
