Biggs Property Management is seeking a Compliance & Recertification Specialist to join our corporate office in Fort Wayne. You will review certifications, support audits, and maintain program integrity across affordable housing portfolios.

The role requires knowledge of USDA Rural Development and LIHTC programs and at least three years of affordable housing compliance experience. Strong communication and organization are essential for success.

Responsibilities

  • Review move in and annual certifications to determine eligibility for all affordable housing programs and ensure the certification is accurately verified and documented.
  • Assist with file preparation and submissions for desk audits and regulatory compliance reviews.
  • Support internal compliance tracking and tenant event reporting.
  • Communicate file findings and compliance concerns clearly and assist property teams with timely resolution.
  • Provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to Property Managers.
  • Assist with implementation of regulatory or policy updates across the portfolio.
  • Maintain organized records and help ensure required certifications and submissions are completed accurately and on time.

Biggs Property Management is currently hiring a Compliance & Recertification Specialist to join our corporate office and help ensure our affordable housing portfolio remains in full compliance with all applicable regulatory standards. In this role, you'll serve as a key gatekeeper for our compliance operations, working closely with Property Managers, and collaborating with team members to maintain program integrity across all affordable housing programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review move in and annual certifications to determine eligibility for all affordable housing programs and ensure the certification is accurately verified and documented.
  • Assist with file preparation and submissions for desk audits and regulatory compliance reviews.
  • Support internal compliance tracking and tenant event reporting.
