The Compliance Program Manager – Professional Fee Compliance is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the Corporate Compliance Program, focusing on federal payor billing compliance, provider education, and documentation accuracy across Johns Hopkins Health System and its affiliates. The role involves working with clinical departments, billing services, and the School of Medicine to train and support providers and staff in documentation and billing requirements. Using auditing techniques, the individual will assess documentation, coding, and billing accuracy across specialties.
The manager will independently assess complex compliance risks, perform audits, investigations, and provide guidance to personnel. They will monitor regulatory requests, represent the department on committees, and advise leadership on compliance issues. The role includes researching Medicare, Medicaid, and other legal authorities, developing training programs, managing vendor audits, and mentoring staff.
The scope includes Johns Hopkins entities such as Johns Hopkins Community Physicians, Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians, and Johns Hopkins All Children’s Specialty Physicians.
Salary range: $40.39 - $64.63 per hour, commensurate with experience.
