Job Summary

SMBC MANUBANK is a digital, middle-market commercial bank serving consumers’ best interests. The Compliance Program and Reporting (CP&R) Manager will assist the Head of Compliance Programs, Governance, and Reporting with compliance-related deliverables, research current laws and regulations, and provide guidance to stakeholders. The candidate should have a strong background in banking operations and knowledge of banking products and services.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, and present Compliance Program reports to the Bank’s Compliance Management Committee and Board of Directors.
• Collaborate with the compliance team to gather data and create reports.
• Document and maintain notes, minutes, and action items as the Compliance Management Committee’s Secretary.
• Create and manage compliance reports using charts, pivots, and other tools.
• Maintain the Compliance Calendar to ensure timely deliverables.
• Manage compliance reporting to SMBC Americas Division partners.
• Support monthly/quarterly metrics reporting.
• Oversee compliance risk identification, monitoring, and control.
• Assist with regulatory program oversight, examinations, and enhancements.
• Perform special projects as assigned.

Position Specifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; CRCM or similar certification preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years in regulatory compliance; 7+ years in banking industry.
• Skills: Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel; excellent communication; team-oriented; adaptable; detail-oriented; self-motivated; problem solver; effective time management; proactive; emotionally intelligent leadership qualities preferred.
