Based in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Miamisburg, Birmingham or Charlotte, the role provides advisory support, oversight, and credible challenge for Residential Lending Servicing compliance. The position requires 5+ years of relevant experience, a university degree, and strong knowledge of regulatory requirements.

As a Compliance Program Advisor within PNC's Enterprise Compliance organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA / Cleveland, OH / Miamisburg, OH / Birmingham, AL / Charlotte, NC.

  • Serve as a senior member of the Residential Lending Servicing compliance team, providing advisory support, oversight, and credible challenge related to Residential Lending Servicing operations, regulatory requirements, and compliance risks.
  • Maintain broad knowledge of Residential Lending Servicing processes and associated compliance risks, including payments, billing statements, payoffs, account maintenance, line management, liens, escrow, customer communications, and related initiatives, while serving as a lead resource for designated coverage areas.
  • Build strong partnerships with Line of Business leadership, Business Risk, Legal, Operations, and other stakeholders to identify emerging risks, assess change impacts, and provide practical compliance guidance.
  • Lead and support compliance coverage activities across assigned areas, including regulatory change management, risk assessments, monitoring and testing, complaint and issue oversight, procedure governance, and escalation of material compliance risks.
  • Partner with Compliance leadership and peers to advance the Enterprise Compliance Target Operating Model (TOM), enhance coverage procedures and methodologies, and support strategic initiatives that strengthen the overall Compliance organization.

Job Description

Communicates effective compliance programs to identify and prevent illegal, unethical, or improper business practices. Coaches and mentors junior staff and raises issues to senior team members. Demonstrates ability to constructively challenge the status quo. Supports key business initiatives by analyzing and drawing conclusions from data to identify compliance risks. Provides resolutions to manage and mitigate the identified risks. If necessary, escalates identified risks to senior team members. Identifies compliance impact on matters such as marketing materials, sales programs, product development, documentation review and other business initiatives. Works cooperatively with the business, legal partners, audit and other risk disciplines across the organization. Assesses activity for existing and emerging risks. Evaluates the materiality of the risks identified and presents recommendations on necessary risk mitigation. Uses knowledge on current laws, rules, and other regulatory requirements and drafts or assesses Compliance Manuals, Front Office materials, policies and procedures to ensure alignment. Leads the compliance monitoring program and reviews activity to ensure it falls within established risk control limits. Helps to identify and define the compliance program objectives for assigned area, products/services, and applicable regulations. Communicates and socializes compliance program objectives to senior business partners. Independently challenges analyses and formulates insightful recommendations. Reviews compliance reports to identify deeper issues and common themes. Escalates issues through proper governance channels as needed, and recommends corrective action plans. Mentors and coaches junior staff on report analysis techniques as applicable. Updates and implements new/enhanced reports in order to ensure timely and effective compliance with regulatory requirements.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $63,750.00 – $127,500.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
