Job summary

Verse Medical is seeking a Compliance Operations Associate in New York to help run our compliance program day-to-day. The role blends desk work with on-site facility duties, including guiding third-party auditors through our space and ensuring paper records match practice.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with experience in compliance, audits, or operations, and can manage multiple deadlines while communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience in compliance, quality assurance, operations, audit support, or a related field.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple trackers and deadlines.
• Experience with audits, inspections, or QA reviews is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update compliance trackers, calendars, and checklists for licenses, certifications, renewals, and trainings.
• Monitor deadlines and proactively flag items before they become urgent.
• Organize and maintain audit-ready documentation and recordkeeping systems.
• Support internal audits and external inspections by gathering documents and coordinating schedules.
• Draft and update SOPs, checklists, and job aids as processes evolve.
• Assist in preparing reports and dashboards for leadership.
• Onboard and track completion of trainings across teams.
• Serve as on-site point of contact during auditor visits and facilitation.
