Job summary

F&M Bank is seeking a Compliance Assistant to support the Compliance Officer in monitoring and implementing the bank's Compliance Management Program. The role focuses on promoting regulatory alignment and efficient processes within the Oklahoma City team.

Under the Compliance Officer's direction, you will assist with questions across departments, prepare timely reports, maintain online training, and participate in special projects and committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use specialized software and banking systems.
• Familiarity with banking policies and required loan/deposit documents.

Responsibilities

• Assists departments with regulatory compliance questions.
• Prepares reports as necessary in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assists with the implementation of policies, procedures, and processes.
• Performs regulatory compliance monitoring, including deposit and loan operations.
• Prepares periodic reporting of compliance monitoring results and follow-up to ensure issues are resolved.
• Maintains and oversees online compliance training
• Participates in special projects.
• Attends various committee meetings as needed and provides compliance related feedback
• Continuously looks for opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline processes
• Other duties as assigned by management.
