Wintrust Financial Corporation in Rosemont, IL seeks a Compliance Officer – Fair and Responsible Banking to lead fair lending and UDAAP oversight, including testing, file reviews, and policy reviews.

You will partner with the VP, provide subject matter expertise, train teams, analyze monitoring results, and assist in risk assessments to strengthen our compliance program.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience related to financial services compliance.
• Fair lending or UDAAP compliance experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CRCM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform fair lending comparative file reviews and other targeted fair banking risk reviews for consumer, small business and/or mortgage products.
• Assist the VP, Fair and Responsible Banking in providing subject matter expertise to the compliance team and business lines regarding fair lending and UDAAP risk; advise on corrective action.
• Assist with training as needed and help in communicating policy expectations.
• Analyze compliance and business line monitoring results to identify factors contributing to elevated risk and recommend improvements or additional monitoring.
• Oversee fair lending and other applicable risk assessments as part of the program.

The position will focus on fair banking testing (fair lending and UDAAP), including but not limited to: comparative file reviews, policy and procedure reviews, and analysis of first line monitoring results.**What You’ll Do*** Perform fair lending comparative file reviews and other targeted fair banking risk reviews for consumer, small business and/or mortgage products.* Assist the VP, Fair and Responsible Banking in providing subject matter expertise to both the compliance team and business lines regarding fair lending and UDAAP risk related to comparative file review results. Advise as needed regarding required corrective action.
