Job summary

Genesis Recruiting is seeking a Compliance Officer in Monroe, NY, offering a hybrid schedule with in-office presence 1–2 days per week and onboarding in Monroe with training 2 days per week. The role provides potential for growth into a leadership position within the compliance department.

The ideal candidate has experience in compliance, familiarity with OPWDD regulations, and strong organizational and communication skills to oversee programs, monitor compliance, and support audits.

Qualifications

• Prior compliance experience is preferred.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Compliance Officer

Location: Monroe, NY (Boro Park and New City office available)
Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
Salary: $70,000–$120,000 annually, commensurate with experience

We are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with an experienced compliance professional, with the potential to take on increasing responsibility and eventually transition into a leadership role within the compliance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the development, implementation, and oversight of compliance programs and policies.
• Monitor organizational compliance with applicable regulatory and operational requirements.
• Support audits, reviews, investigations, and corrective action processes.
• Maintain compliance documentation and records.
• Collaborate with leadership and staff to promote a culture of compliance and regulatory adherence.

• Travel expenses related to training and required travel will be reimbursed.
